Soon TMBrawl League. Dev 1: So cannons are large, heavy pieces of equipment, right? Big and made entirely of iron, yet they shoot cannon balls for massive damage.
Whats a way we can incorporate all of these concepts into a new weapon for our video game? Maybe we could design something like a mix between blasters and hammer - a big, slow, hard hitting weapon with good spacing potential and decent followups, but vulnerable if you miss.Dev 2.Dev 3.Dev 1: Yeah you're right that's too hard, lets just give it lightning fast attacks with perfect force angles and 0 recovery frames so you can whiff ten million attacks in a row with no consequences, our game is young it literally just released lol how could powercreep be a problem?I so badly wanted to believe that BMG would be able to make a fun and balanced weapon.
I thought they would have learned their lesson after scythe and gauntlets. It doesn't matter how it would work in real-life, because frankly, most of the weapons in the game wouldn't work IRL considering how huge they are. I think that's what it is, too. Now that I think of it, the bow had backlash similar to this when it first came out.

People don't really remember it cause it's been so long, and bow is so established now - plus more bow legends with more intuitive, bow-like sigs came out.It's always awkward introducing what's ostensibly an entirely ranged weapon into a fight that takes place entirely at melee range. They figured it out with bow, and I actually think they came up with some great solutions for the cannon, but it's gonna feel super weird while everyone gets used to it. What new attack angles really are there? I know there's 360 possible angles but there aren't really any 'new' angles to introduce. You have0 with like every neutral/side move,45 with moves like sword dlight or katar recovery,90 with unarmed dlight or katar nlight135 with Scarlet/bodvar hammer dsig180 with lucien ssig225 with scythe reverse dair or teros hammer nsig270 with sword dair or pretty much every ground poundand 315 with scythe dair or asuri nsignot to mention that axe recovery and gp can send in every direction, along with scythe gp that can range from angles like 181-359 or something like that, I'm just not sure what new angles they could use?.
